I am raising my family in Rialto and care deeply about our future. I have seen our city change and believe we need new leadership. With a background in public service, I am ready to join the City Council to represent our neighbors. Let's work to make our city a place where every family can thrive.
Meet Carl Mayfield
Rialto Raised. Residents First.
Carl Mayfield was raised in Rialto and shaped by the schools, churches, neighborhoods and community that helped make him who he is today. Now raising his own family in Rialto, Carl is running for City Council to give back to the city that helped raise him.
With more than 20 years of active law-enforcement and public-service experience, Carl brings firsthand experience in public safety, leadership, supervision and accountability. He wants to bring that experience to City Hall while listening directly to residents and keeping their priorities at the center of City decisions.
As a father living in Rialto, I understand what our community needs to succeed. Carl offers a background in public service focused on fairness and community safety. He is dedicated to improving our neighborhoods, supporting local business interests, and ensuring that every resident has the opportunity to thrive.
My Vision for Rialto
Rialto is my home. I was raised here, and now I'm raising my family here. I've watched our city grow, and I believe our next chapter should be about making sure that growth actually improves life for the people who call Rialto home.
Safer Neighborhoods
With more than 20 years in law enforcement and public safety, I understand that safe neighborhoods don't happen by accident. I will support our police officers, firefighters and emergency responders while pushing for smart prevention, strong community partnerships and the resources needed to keep residents safe.
Smart Growth
I'm not against development. I'm for development that makes sense for Rialto. Let's attract more restaurants, shopping, entertainment, healthcare, technology and quality employers while making sure new development considers traffic, infrastructure, neighborhoods and quality of life.
Strong Local Businesses
Being a dad in Rialto, I want our kids to have the best. I will work for cleaner parks and fun things for our youth to do after school. By listening to our neighbors, I will help build safe places where our children can play, learn, and grow up with every chance to succeed.
Youth & Families
Our young people deserve recreation, mentorship, job training, internships and opportunities that prepare them for their future. We should work with our schools, colleges, businesses and community organizations to create more pathways for Rialto youth.
Supporting Our Seniors
Our seniors helped build this community. I will support strong senior nutrition, transportation, health and wellness partnerships, safe neighborhoods and easier access to services that help older residents remain active and independent.
Clean Neighborhoods
Clean streets, maintained parks, graffiti removal, illegal-dumping enforcement and well-maintained public spaces matter. Residents should be proud of the neighborhoods they call home.

Our Campaign
This campaign is about the people who call Rialto home. I'm running to bring more than 20 years of public-safety experience, Rialto roots and independent leadership to the City Council.
Together, we can work for safer neighborhoods, stronger local businesses, smarter growth, opportunities for our youth, support for our seniors and a City Hall that puts residents first.
